   The Lorraine is participating in the exploration of the planet Mars with NASA
The G2R laboratory is contributing to the Mars Sciences Laboratory programme. Specialised in spectroscopy on plasma induced by laser, the laboratory is participating in ChemCam, a scientific instrument that analyses the rocks on Mars in search of traces of life.
