   On video : "The Greater Region Cartilage Network", 1st Interregional Research Prize 2012
Considered the best cross-border research project of 2012, the "Greater Region Cartilage Network" was awarded a prize to the value of €35,000. Interview with Professor Jacques Magdalou, one of the Lorraine leaders of the project.
GRMN : Inter-regional magnetism education and technology transfer programme
The Greater Region Magnetism Network (GRMN) brings scientists together from the universities of Lorraine, Kaiserslautern and Sarrebrück. Launched last November, this Interreg IV A project is to develop the transfer of technology and the range of education opportunities in the area of magnetism.
  IFALOR : new Franco-German Institute in Lorraine
Summary. The University of Lorraine and The University of the Saar officially launched IFALOR on December 18 2012. At the service of education, research and business-enterprise interaction, this institute aims to support the organisation of Franco-German projects.
  Seed4Start : point of contact between start-ups and investors in the Greater Region
New inter-regional platform, Seed4Start aims to put innovative start-ups into contact with private investors, offering each of them targeted support.
