Doctoral and post-doctoral candidates

In-house researchers

Host a doctoral candidate or a post-doctoral candidate in-house? A win-win agreement : It facilitates the professional integration of a young researcher while developing innovation within the hosting structure. Several public schemes encourage collaborations between the economic and research worlds.

The CIFRE agreements (Industrial Agreements of Education by Research) are aimed at businesses that commit to confiding a research project to a young graduate (Secondary education +5 years). These agreements are managed by the National Association of Technical Research (ANRT).

The Doctorate of Business Engineering Grant (BDIE) [link to paper] is co-financed by the CNRS and the company. This grant supports execution of a doctoral thesis lead in a laboratory of the CNRS in the framework of a collaboration contract between the public research institution and the industrial partner.

The ADEME, French Environment and Energy Control Agency, each year supports the preparation of 80 doctoral theses . The Agency pays particular attention to projects co-financed by businesses and projects that are interesting for its large domains of intervention) natural resources, climate change, waste…).
