A unique French competitiveness pole dedicated to fibers and fibrous materials, the Fibers Pole works so that an innovative, high-performance and durable development-oriented sector emerges.

 
 
   Industries, research laboratories, regional centers for innovation and technology transfer... the Fibers Pole groups 360 members. A portrait in numbers.
 
   Last June 23rd the Fibers Pole signed a new performance contract with its partners where the number one goal is to promote the emergence of an innovative eco-materials sector industry.
 
  Eco-design has become a competitiveness factor for businesses by integrating environmental protection throughout the product's life cycle. CIM Eco, developed by the Fibers Pole, is an awareness and accompaniment program destined to assist companies in implementing this approach.
 
   ECOLICEL is one of the main Fibers Pole projects. Associating industries and researchers, its goal is to give value to wood components in order to elaborate renewable materials. Explanations by Karl Gedda, the Pole executive officer, follow.
 
   Imagined by the Greater East Fibre Centre, techno-dating is a real meeting service between the research universe and that of business.
