Scientific Image : a new platform

An “Open Archive” launched online last February, MédiHAL receives its content from researchers and teaching researchers. Each can upload iconographical scientific documents (scanned images, digital photographs, scanned photographs, computer graphics or digital simulations…) MédiHAL was developed by the Center for Direct Scientific Communication (Centre pour la communication scientifique directe (CCSD)) and the National Center for Digitalizing Visual Resources (Centre national pour la numérisation de sources visuelles (CN2SV)), with the support of the CNRS’ Very large ADONIS facilities.
