Presentation of the Institution :

Created in 2003, the IUT is one of the components of Paul Verlaine University - Metz. On the Cormontaigne site, three DUT specialities are taught. Biological engineering, Industrial and Maintenance Engineering and Marketing Techniques, as well as 8 Vocational Bachelor's degrees (level II).

The IUT plays and important role within the Cormontaigne space and develops partnerships with its neighbours that are the Welding Institute and the Training Centre of Metallurgical Industries Apprentices.
A strong link exists between the IUT and the regional vocational high school "les Grands Bois" of Hayange in the framework of their cooperation in the vocational bachelor's degree training technical personnel in non-destructive testing.

All of the IUT Thionville-Yutz’s curricula are open in pre-qualification education as well as in continuing education. You can also have your acquired experience recognised by the VAE scheme.
