G2R is a fundamental research laboratory that works in the domain of Earth Sciences and the Environment. It groups together researchers from the CNRS, research professors from Henri Poincaré University and the ENSG (INPL) and researchers from the CREGU.
G2R has characteristics of carrying out research on the genesis of Mineral and Energy Resources (uranium, oil, gas) and their downstream (storage, sustainable development, exploitation, production), environment.
G2R is part of the EST research Federation, and by its four charges (UHP, INPL, CNRS, CREGU) constitutes a place of exchange and inter-organization collaboration, as well as a privileged interface with the industrial world. G2R has collaborations in the framework of regional, national and international programs with all the laboratories of the EST Federation.
