The scientific activity of the Laboratory of Thermodynamics of Separations is centred on the thermodynamics of balances between phases of multiphase systems. The laboratory’s roles are multiple :
- To contribute by fine experimental measures in the enrichment of existing databases ;
- To improve representation models of Gibbs energy and to develop new equations of fluid states.
It relies on a team made up of around ten research professors.
