Énergie Déchets Environnement Green Valley came into being in March 2007. This network of environmentally friendly businesses was given momentum by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Meurthe-et-Moselle and of Moselle. The network's registered office is located at the CCI 54 branch office in Longwy. The network is assisted by the Chambres Consulaires (offices of the State with responsibility to support private businesses) who oversee the organisation and coordination of Eden Green Valley.
"EGV" has economic weight because it comprises: 20 environmentally-friendly small and medium businesses, including 10 micro businesses in North Lorraine with 200 M€ of accrued sales figures, nearly 900 jobs and multiple partnerships in the Territory.
