Installed in a technological hall of the National School of Wood Technologies and Industries of Epinal (Henri Poincaré University of Nancy) and labeled "Technological Resource Centre" by the ministry of Research, the CRITT Bois is dedicated to companies from the wood field. In order to accompany them, it puts the totality of its competences at their disposition. Entirely turned towards client satisfaction, anchored in an industrial reality, the CRITT Bois proposes a large range of services including tests, specific studies, technological advice and also research and development projects.

The CRITT Bois is endowed with high-performance equipment in a specialized laboratory of 7500 m² shared with the ENSTIB teams :

The CRITT Bois has an obligation to bring to SME added technological value in order to favour their economic development. In order to complete this mission, it is meant to be the interface between public research and companies. Today, the principal missions that are entrusted to it by the SME aim at this objective, from the simple test or measurement up to the research and development contract, in passing by the development of an innovative technological process, the accompaniment of the technology transfer, advice and expertise.
With the constant support of public partners, the CRITT Bois also proposes specific actions aiming at improving the individual technological level of SME.
