The CCI of Meuse’s activity articulates around 4 priorities :
- Promoting and supporting the creation and birth of the department’s businesses ;
- Supporting tourist development ;
- Following the development of infrastructures (zones of activities, TGV…) ;
- Taking an interest in businesses’ human resources by promoting training in the SME - microbusinesses and by banking on the school/business contacts.

The objective of the CCI of Meuse is to promote and develop the know-how of the department’s businesses, notably abroad. Business creation and buyout is also a major axis of its action. It thereby proposes services and methods making it possible to reduce the risks linked to the implantation and transmission of businesses.

The CCI of Meuse is committed to actions regarding :
- Maintenance and development of economic activity: commerce and services, businesses’ centre of formalities, hospitality industry, catering, tourism, industry, international ;
- Promotion of the creation and transmission of business ;
- Collection and diffusion of economic information ;
- Valorization of businesses’ expectations regarding facilities and development of the territory ;
- Development of human resources ;
- Enhancement of Meuse;
- Optimization of means.
The CCI also has information tools concerning local economic life at its disposal :
- A resource centre in order to launch a prospecting campaign, search for one or several business(es), get information on the local economy, better know Meuse’s territory, search for a job or internship…
- A "businesses" file that lists the data concerning the 4500 establishments registered at the RCS (Registry of Commerce and Companies) present in the department. The industrial, commercial and service businesses appear there.
