The "Synergiades" competition rewards and helps in the concrete expression of business creation projects presented by students, researchers, teachers or young graduates from Lorrain in the framework of :
- creation of a business that is emerging, in phase of concrete expression or in the start up phase ;
- development of a new activity within an existing business ;
- a business buyout project ;
- the design of a new product.
The operator, towards which any information can be requested, is the European Centre of Business and Innovation Synergie.

All students, researchers, teachers and young graduates of the universities, engineering schools, technological and vocational high schools or people registered, no matter what their age, in the vocational or continued educational organizations of Lorraine.
By young graduate, it is meant any person who graduated less than 3 years ago.

Deposit of files from September to May of the school year, and then pre-selection of 12 finalists who will orally present their projects in front of a jury of professionals in June.

Jury : essentially composed of partners of "Synergiades", as well as regional economic actors (banks, public accountants, business leaders, etc.), it is lead to deliberate on the quality of projects deposited.
Categories: for those who, independently of the conferences (open to all), participate in the competition, all courses of study are given their chance. In fact, the jury is lead to examine each project under the following angles :
- the most innovative project;
- the best market study;
- the most convincing oral presentation;
- the best business plan;
- the Jury’s choice.
A laureate is named in each category and is presented one or several prizes during the awards ceremony. The most implicated institution in this journey is also qualified as the most enterprising and promoted in the media as such.
Prizes: each year, the "Synergiades" bring together a growing number of partners, contributing to the giving of prizes in cash (on the order of € 1 000 per laureate) and in kind : making available technological installations, advice and personalized accompaniment, promotion in the media, etc. The giving of prizes takes place in the framework of the Entrepreneurship Forum in November.
