Industrial research aid

The Regional Funds for Innovation in Lorraine support research and development programs between the proof of the concept and the realisation of a prototype :
- "Fundamental" research and development aiming at acquiring scientific knowledge not linked to a short-term industrial or commercial objective ;
- "Industrial" research and development aiming at acquiring knowledge in view of developing/improving a product, process or service.


Any type of business based in Lorraine.


The aid can finance expenditures regarding personnel, equipment and buildings, advice and studies, cost of patents, collaboration with research laboratories…
Payment in several phases : signature, intermediate, final.


Aid is done in the form of grants. Maximum intervention rate of 100% for fundamental research and 25 to 50% for industrial research (extendable to 75% subject to conditions).
