July 2011 : Nancy, world philosophy of science capital

 

The Congress on Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science takes place for the first time in France from July 19th to 26th. The event is organized in Nancy by the History and Philosophy of Science Laboratory (Laboratoire d'Histoire des Sciences et de Philosophie (LHSP)) - Henri Poincaré Archives with the support of the Lorraine region MSH. For its organizers, the event is also a unique chance to interest the greater public in research problems.

 
 
  From July 19th to 26th 2011, Nancy will be the host of the 14th CLMPS (Congress of Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science) Congress. Programmed : conferences and greater public meetings around new technologies.
 
  Researcher Liège University, associated member of the LHSP - Henri Poincaré Archives, Caroline Jullien leads the "Are aesthetics approaches in Philosophy of mathematics topical ?" symposium during the 14th Congress of Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science.
