FRIL : 3 years serving growth

 

Since 2006, the Lorraine Regional Innovation Fund financially supports the development projects of entrepreneurs from the territory. Numbers, interviews, recounting experiences... Discover this mechanism launched by the Region and OSEO.
 
 
   FRIL, what is the end-result ? What are the perspectives ? Answers from Patrick Abate, 3rd Vice-President delegate to regional actions regarding "Economic interventions in favor of innovative industries and technology transfer".
 
   For three years, the Lorraine Regional Innovation Fund (FRIL) dedicated 22 M€ in aide to industrial research and launched new activities that emerged from technology transfer. Some marks to better understand its intervention.
 
   According to about 93% of assisted businesses, the Lorraine Regional Innovation Fund permitted faster launching of the most important projects. It's one of the main conclusions of the satisfaction survey undertaken in July 2008.
