   File : Regional Innovation Strategy in the Lorraine region  
How and in which sectors will the region innovate tomorrow ? Based on a no-holds-barred analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of research, the economic fabric and public policies, the regional innovation strategy established guidelines and offers actions to build tomorrow’s Lorraine region.
Materials Research and the Environment : Franco-Russian cooperation is growing
Launched in 2005, the ARCUS program has begun its implementation phase. Lorraine-based and Russian teams are working together to develop 5 innovative research programmes. 		  Producing clean in the Lorraine region : an aide for mechanics SMEs

ULCOS II : a European project to capture and store CO2 launched in Lorraine
At the initiative of a consortium for research and development, ULCOS aims to develop innovative technologies to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases from the steel industry. The industrial leader of the programme, ArcelorMittal, is launching a pilot plant at the site of Florange.
