Lorraine at the cutting edge of environmental technology

Treatment of pollution, agri-food resources, environmental management, green chemistry, energy efficiency... Lorraine now has a great deal to offer in the area of clean technology. A recent study in the region was able to analyse and select some fifty instances of this technology. Mostly easy to transfer in the short term, they now constitute a catalogue available to medium and small businesses which wish to move into the area of green innovation...

Presented in the form of product files, the clean technology on offer in Lorraine is intended for businesses. These files, which can be downloaded here, allow businesses to measure the “future prospects for transfer" and "the degree of accessibility” for a medium or small business. The scheme is organised under 7 themes.

What is the purpose of the "Clean technologies in Lorraine" study? What are the strengths and weaknesses of the region in this area? These are the answers from Michel Goutfreind, who is in charge of clean technology files at DIRRECTE Lorraine.
