INTERREG IV A Greater Region programme

Europe is encouraging territorial cooperation

European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), INTERREG IV A Greater Region enables cross-border projects to be carried out. Discover in this section, partnerships associating Lorraine actors from higher education, from research and/or innovation…

Reinforce the cross-border partnerships within the Grande Région: such is the ambition of the INTERREG IV A programme. It comes under the European Union objective of "Territorial cooperation", one of the three objectives framing the intervention of 2007-2013 structural funds. To this end, it benefits from a total aid of 106 million euros of European regional development funds (ERDF).

INTERREG IV A covers three main axis: economy (46% of the ERDF allocation), area – in terms of living conditions – (27%), and man (27%). Since the programme launch, 89 projects have been accepted.
