Postsecondary education

Production and sharing of knowledge in Lorraine

Today Lorraine is placed among the great centres of French postsecondary education . Its force comes from the University of Lorraine, an establishment formed in January 2012 by the fusion of 4 regional universities (INPL, UHP, Nancy 2 and UPV-M). This university covers 53 sites spread out across the entire region and trains a large number of doctoral students. The Lorraine region also distinguishes itself by the presence of 8 University Institutes of Technology and 16 Engineering schools.

The regional area is attractive and welcomes 75,000 French and foreign students each year who benefit from a large range of diplomas.

Largely open to the world, the postsecondary education in Lorraine develops numerous exchanges within the Greater Region, of course, but also within the framework of European and international programs.

Mirror of the dynamism and richness of the postsecondary education in the region, the Eurêka portal in addition proposes a Student guide . It is intended to facilitate the daily lives of those who have made Lorraine their choice to prepare their future.
