Officially created on January 1, 2009, the Jean Lamour Institute is the Lorraine's new showcase for innovative materials. Report on this ambitious 75 million euro budget five years prior to its move to the ARTEM site.

 
 
   Since January 1, 2009, the JLI merges 5 common laboratories at Nancy-Université, the UPV-Metz and at the CNRS. Structured into 3 departments, this new MRU (Mixed Research Unit) UMR will accelerate technology transfers by making training a priority. Interview with the director, Jean-Marie Dubois.
 
  Specialized in reactive plasmas, the ESPRITS team is for now on integrated at the JLI. For researchers, this new research coalition will reinforce visibility and support partnerships.
